Two hearts big

My first WaveDancer drawing in *ages*! Hopefully I haven't gotten too dusty. Anyhow, it's Brill and Skimback as they slowly realize they're falling in love with each other. I used to think that what brought them together was the death of Brill's parents (whom I completely and very much believe to be Haze and Farbright, and Korafay's coloring only confirms that in my eyes ^^), but reading how she wanted to join with the Broken One so he wouldn't feel left out, and given the way Skimback kept trying to heal the Broken One (even going against Surge's orders!), I've come to believe that the Broken One himself may have been the catalyst of their relationship. Maybe I'll write somethin' about it someday...
I used the color scheme of "Turning Tide" for Brill's outfit and Skimback's skin, because while I adore Wendy's take on the WaveDancers, I was so used to "that" coloring it felt nice to go back to it ^_^ Also, the coral color scheme brings out Brill's skintone much better in my opinion. As for Skimback, I tried to remember all the various ear shapes he changed and merged them together so he can hopefully be happy
Dedicated to Embala, who inspired me to return to drawing WaveDancers much sooner than I thought

Oooh, shiny! I love how you colored this, they look like they just emerged from the water, still wet.

Thanks Afke! ^_^ Yup, that was exactly how I envisioned the scene happening - they just resurfaced from a swim and while they were taking a rest, they had a heart to heart talk and found out their feelings were mutual
