Preserver Turnaround WIP 1

Front and back views of what will eventually be a 4-view model sheet. The anatomy here is based on the wiry/knobby build of the Preservers in the Wolfrider's Guide color plate. So a more defined body than the one Wendy Pini has been drawing in more recent years.
I'll be incorporating features from other references though, such as the wing-nubs on Windrider's Petalwing pinup (http://www.elfquestfanart.com/index.php?action=media;sa=item;in=3952sort=3). Which is why there are circles on the back where the wings will attach.

I just noticed this; those wing-nubs may be placed too low in this picture. They are now on the ribs, while in Windrider's picture they are on the shoulder blades, which seems a more logical place to me too.
And may I say, excellent work on the backview of those feet! |
