Opencanvas mess

Still struggling with artblock! man! it's annoying! I rarely have one and it's maddening for someone who is obsessed with drawing! but, to show I'm alive and that I'll get to important things as soon as I can I post this junk! I was testing out open canvas with czarine, she drew odd shapes, I drew Marut who steals the shapes... I also drew wavedancer/mermaid Laluna and Terra... yup... this looks awful! BUT I'll be back once I can!...

It's good to stay busy anyway, especially when you have artblock.
Personally I don't think there is such a thing; you may not have inspiration to draw fantasy right now, so just go out in your backyard or something and start drawing what you SEE. Go to the mall and draw people. Something like that to keep you drawing and inspiration will come back soon.

Actually, artblocks are true... it's a moment when the brain tries to improve in the current area you are working with... this can happen in martial arts, socializing and so on... the last time I had an artblock was years ago... it's incredibly rare for me to have one... I have tried to draw everything else... I always draw loads of different stuff... I personally can't understand people who only draw one subject... but NOTHING seems to come out like I want currently... this will wear off eventually, the most important thing is to keep drawing (or doing what the block is related to)...

I still just love the crazy creativity of this. It's really fun.
I personally have never had an artblock, I just lack the time to put all my ideas on paper... Anyway, it's good that it doesn't stop you from drawing completely. I am so looking forward to autumn, when I can finally sit down and take up my pens again! |
