Spring "fairy"
by Afke
I figured I might as well upload this picture. Closest drawing to Elfquest I've done in a while.
After the prompt "spring fairy" from Sketch Fest #34. More Sketch Fest art by me.
I don't really like fairies, but you guys know how I feel about trolls, and I think troll kids are cute! So this little girl popped up. She's not in a holt or anything, but this folder fitted best anyway, since apparently she's a keeper; I've drawn her two more times already.
She doesn't have a name yet.

Now, that is just too adorable! I don't know how you manage to make her look so cute and yet so sassy at the same time. That grin is just perfect. The foot of her parents or whoever in the background just adds so much!
Your sketch fest art is so impressive. Don't know why, but I just love "Leader of the Wild Things". Just so dynamic and the story behind it would really interest me. |

Every time I see her I start grinning.
Treefox; I love Sketch Fest, it really helps to get ideas out. It also makes you think about characters you might have forgotten, and it dares you to draw stuff you normally wouldn't. I can really recommend it. Come join us next month! August 23-25. |

Ah, it's really tempting... Especially considering I haven't drawn a single thing this year... However, we really have to use the summer months to continue with our house renovation, as long as the weather permits it.
If I should have time unexpectedly, I'd love to join. Thanks for the invitation! |

Perhaps I'll "see" you there. Remember, you don't have to sketch for hours and hours; if you see one prompt that occupies for you for just 10 minutes, that's cool too!
