Nutmeg is a rockshaper, Quillfeather is a metalshaper. Together they are freeing metal deep within the stone in a local tunnel. Eventually Quillfeather will shape the freed metal into something useful for Three Holts Alliance.

Nutmeg is Jonnee Smalling's character, not hard to guess Quillfeather is mine. Three Holts Alliance is run by Robi McCulley. I started this quite some time ago but a lot of things interrupted its completion. I swear I'll get it done for the next newsletter, Robi!

Wha-?! New Amberfox art? And in color?
Yay! Love it! Love the warm colors, love how Quillfeather's trousers seem to be almost part of his body.
Moooore!

Yup! I'm been away for a while, but I'm trying to be more active. Health issues have kept me very busy but I'm on the mend.

Glad you like the illo, even though the scanner I used didn't pick up the red I brushed through Quillfeather's hair (I suppose every pun intended); he's a light strawberry blonde. Darn it, but at least the colors are otherwise close. I need to steal my mother's scanner next time I visit. Meanwhile, I have a ton of art in the works and some are even in color. May post when I get the chance.

Love to see your colored work! Especially how you did that dress; looks so soft and thin and flowing!
