Moonlight Maiden

You know I'm only in it for the sparklies.
And the shinies, mustn't forget the shinies.
The title is shamelessly borrowed from a 19th century poem talking about, yes, elves.

Oooh very beautiful! When I first saw Rillfisher in the comics she was an instant favorite, her calm and steady eyes you captured their shape perfectly here, and her seemingly gentleness, wise and pure... And she's so instinctual.
It's sad we don't get to see her too often, only mentioned a few times, but nonetheless, she is beautiful. Amazing picture, Mirror! |

I love the sparklies as well. They lighten her in such a mysterious way. Love that relaxed pose as well!

I really love how you draw and color Rillfisher. She looks so soft. I especially love the color of her hair. It's such a nice break from the bright gold her daughter has. The sparkles light up the picture just right. *.*

This is really a magical picture! The soft glow and the sparkles make it look so mystical. Rillfisher is and will always remain a beauty.

Ever wonder why my characters tend to be dripping with jewelry? Because I'm into shinies and sparklies, too!
Wow, her hair color is getting closer to my own (got a way to go before it reaches my length). You've done a wonderful rendition of her, as usual in the soft, wispy, almost ethereal lighting effect you do so very well. If I tried that, it'd just look like I sneezed on the illo and tried in vain to wipe it clean. I was never drawn to the character very much, although I did wonder a little about her. This illo makes me more curious about her, and I have to agree with DestinysGift; it'd be interesting to have more written about her. |
