Its just a berry!
by Guest
Gentlestream, originally a Go-Back is the shortest of the Outcast tribe.
Zharo, a high one, is the oldest of the Timeless.
Gentlestream, a bouncing bean of energy and emotion, loves all attention from her furmates.
Zharo, almost emotionless completely, will not give that attention when he has strawberries.
So how does she solve this?
She takes the berry and sticks it in her shirt telling him to find it.
Yes, there is a story that goes with this picture... But its a secret for now what happens next.
Colored and first actual background I've done that wasn't done quickly... Took a while to do it...

It's so damn pretty! I think this might help m actually color scars when I have to.
I love the look of their hair. I'd want to run my hands through it. And the background is freaking awesome. |

Well, does he remain impassive?
Great colors! Very unusal color for a Go-Back. Is there a story that goes with the hair color? |

I totally agree to what nilla said about the hair, and the colours look so shiny and bright, I just love them =) Nice drawing =)

Thank you, all!
@Nilla: I find myself wanting to do the same at times... And thank you, as you know, the background was a pain... Much appreciated. @Treefox: Well... He gets the berry back, let just say she gets through to him once they are on the ground. And, not really a story, she started as a brunette, as based off my own mother (including the freakishly long hair, which was her hair as I was growing up) but it seemed boring to have her as a brunette, there are so many characters out there with that color, many of my own having it. So one day I had a thought, what would she look like with salmon colored hair? The only thing I can think of is that her parents had red and blonde hair. @Dyara: Thank you! They are in a clearing, by a lake on the edge of a forest on a fall morning... So, though the colors are bright they were originally quite dull because there was supposed to be fog around. |

Love the illo and the idea behind it. I'm sure she was MOST persuasive in getting his attention on her (great use of strawberries). I've actually seen Gentlestream's hair color on a couple of people before; it's considered "washed out red." Not exactly a flattering term, but I suppose. Your mother's hair was that long and "freakish?" You should see mine. I'm enamoured with Zharo's hair color, but you managed to really bring both of their hair to life with the various shades and colors you used. The hands closest to the viewer are terrific, but the one holding the strawberry seems like the fingers are too short compared to the thumb. Love the grin on Gentlestream's face; she certainly knows what she wants and how to get it.
