Foxtail and Rainpace... actually really good friends but their relationship has changed during the last couple of years. They are still trying to figure out the new situation.

Beautifully set in that autumn tree! Also, the dynamics between the two are well done. I really like the foreshortening on Foxtail's leg! The warm colors seem to soften their argument a bit. ;)

Thank you very much, Treefox! It's too hot for my taste these days, so I was in need to draw an autumn scene.  ;)

My favorite season! I envy Amberfox  that she can handle these temperatures easily...

LOVE these temperatures; thrive in them! But we're already 10 degrees colder (still in the 80s Fahrenheit) than last week so I'm starting to look to my sweatshirts...

Beautiful illo despite the argument of the two characters. Amazing how you can draw and color trees without resorting to a lot of distracting details yet still make them look perfect! I imagine, however, that coloring the leaves took a while. Did you use color pencils or copic markers? the characters are very well done; I can easily spot Foxtail and Rainpace and you flattered them both even though they're arguing. Poor Rainpace looks almost apologetic but reluctant to admit...whatever it is. I don't know if the yellow-orange haze in the background is intentional, but I like it. It sort of gives the impression of autumn without having to add more trees or any other background.
