His good-natured face is so pretty! You really are good at drawing thick and beautiful braids. I like his outfit and body shape, even though it reminds me more of Strongbow than Cutter. It's probably the relatively long legs.

Hell-O TREEFOX ! Thank you for the kind words and continued support. This drawing is from 2001 and I agree that I gave them All "long shanks". Eleven years later, and not a drawing one of EQ in that whole time, I now do all drawing with the mechanical measurements and lines. It takes longer but I like my newer drawings more.
It's hard to see in these old Twins drawings, but the front of their hair grows tons longer that the back. Hence the buns and long braid. Something I just cannot figure out is how to draw the hair color- the PC and fellow SweetWater member did a really cool thing; she had the hair go from one color to another in three shades. Brilliant ! I is hoping to get her to color these. She is a Fabulous artist in her own right but a very busy Mom and student. I am pestering all my old Fan Club Artist' to join ElfQuestFanArt. Hhmmmmmm . . . . maybe a Challenge is in Order ? ? Hey ? |

I'm trying to corrupt - I mean, convince all my EQ gang to join this site as well. We need to work on our corruption - I mean, convincing skills.
Oh, I don't mind the long shanks; some characters should have it. Makes them a bit unique. There are people out there that seem to have unusually long legs/limbs, or necks, or whatever else. Plus, his clothing style just emphasizes that. He's also a slender character, so it all works just fine. Draw is adorable, and if I am seeing this correctly, one sexy adult (if he's still too young, he'll BE a sexy adult). I love both facials and the full body with the bow. The shading is still impeccable and the details so much fun to focus on (like finding little presents here and there). I don't mind seeing the older work; I just want to see more! |

Heh, heh AMBERFOX. Yes we should.
More ? At 4 a week, with me usually only on the WWW every 2 weeks or sooo. . . that will take a very long time ! The only reason I have bn here so much recently is because I am in Recovery from Emergency Abdominal Surgery. Split down the middle. Can't do much. Bored as H*** ! ! 5 weeks of no sculpting, no drawing, no jewelry and no painting ! AAaaarrrgh ! |

Tee hee! I am on at last. I will get a color copy of Draw and his sisters hair done as soon as I can. (Hope its ok that I will be using the above sketch to color on). Is this site happy with seeing pics of sculpture as well as flat art?
