Widechest WIP

A past chief of Thunderwater Holt Widechest (once known as Tuftcat) was one of the strongest elves to appear in the tribe's history. His lovelife sucked, he spent years pinning for this one maiden who eventually ended up shacking up with someone else, so Widechest started working out his frustration in the gym all day until he was strong enough to throw a buck to the ground

Especially in thumbnail size this looks almost like it has been carved into stone! Pretty intense glance, there is definitely a Treestump vibe to him. Nice!

The variations in shading are really very impressive, Icebird! I agree with Treefox; a very sculptural look.

I third the chiseled, sculptural look to Widechest and one intensive glare that seems to be able to stare down just as much as he can throw down a large opponent. The eyes are, of course, very beautifully done, but I also am drawn to the nose and lips. The thumbnail really shows the shading and detail you have already put into the features of his face. I admit the hair is a bit distracting for me, but I understand this is a WIP. Can't wait to see the final product!
