Attempted to colour Startear's oc Cone.
I made her hair far too dark.
I'm actually happy with her skin colour.

I think whole miulti pelt thing killed my muse. XD

You have to excuse me if the fur looks horrible. I've never attempted to colour anything like it. 8p

First off, I'm really sorry that I caught you in the passive aggressive wars me and my muse engages in. :-/ Should have thought off that. But at least your muse can happily chew on mine's arm. XD

But I still love her. The skin turned out nice. I notice that each of them, both color one and the other has different feels but very valid  for her. Like in the color one, she looks a lot more tired/exhausted, but the wolf in her is starting to rise, while the gray scale one conveys her troubled soul and annoyance.

While you're correct that the hair is slightly too dark, I don't really mind. When coloring her I was going for something close between this one and the one she has in my picture, but it kept transcending into black in mine, so you aren't that off.

XD I think if I redraw her again with her clothes on, it's likely going turn out much better.

I think you're too hard on yourself. The skin is definitely a nice pale tone. While I must admit, that the fur coat seemed more like feathers to me, that also is pretty neat.
And the dark hair makes her pale skin stand out more. I really sometimes like to make pale, dark-haired characters for the nice contrast it provides. See Winnowill!

Treefox: : I think you're right. I think I spent over hours thinking over how to do the whole multi colour stuff I actually forgot the fur look the pelt was supposed to have.
Berit: XD what so unique about my eye-style?
Berit: I think Star mentioned something about falling from trees? I honestly can't remember at the moment.

Well, you make them look more "cartoony" than most people, not that it's a bad thing! you make them bigger and you shade the Iris differently than most! so there! it is unique!... your style it reminds me of the style in sonic, but yet, it is different!... usually when we see big eyed characters the style mimics mainstream manga rather heavily, but you do it in with a different spice added to it... I'm very interested how this style will grow over the years, I bet it will look stunningly fresh and unique!...

The shading of the iris is something I noticed Eregyrn do in her work. The fact she doesn't give them black pupils, but rather  a darker colour of the iris, really caught my attention.  I adored the effect the colour change gave the her pieces and one day I just tried it. Nowadays I just can't give eyes a black pupils unless the iris calls for it.

If I remember right I used to be just as fond of manga in my younger days and tried to mimic it's style. Some of it still lingers, I think.

I usually give a black pupil if it first the character, sharp eyes characters or so on.. but the eye thing, I don't know how to say it so it sounds smart, but you don't draw eyes like Eregyrn, they are still very different... dimilar technieus, yes, but still dirrerently... you draw big eyes, Eregyrn draws smaller and differently shaped eyes... it's hard to say is so that it sounds smart, but there are differences...

and about manga, well, I like manga when it's not mainstream... and I'm not just talking about just the looks of it, I can't really explain it, but mostly the story nor the characters inspire me... idon't know... everything might be too cheerfull for me... but back to the style thing. even if it lingers, you don't draw manga, your style is your own mix of things!...

XD I don't mean to say draw like Eregyrn (she's lightyears above me), I meant to say I sorta borrow the way she colour eyes.

The scars came from falling off her wolfried from time to time, because honestly, you can't expect to hunt like that without having scrap or two from falling off. Those there are from falling off the wolf at the moment his foot got caught in a rabbit hole. And as a child I remember having bruises and scars often, climbing trees, stumbling on a root, falling down the stairs and other adventures.

I didn't actually notice the scars before you mentioned it, and I looked closer. lol, I'm so blind. But they are really nicely done. They have that look which makes them look both burrowed in the skin while stay aren't really that. :) Awesome work!
