I got the idea for this ...today...and I really wanted to post it...today (it being a b-day gift and all )...
So...
YAY FOR POSTING UNFINISHED PICTURES!
(I love actually having a valid excuse for posting sketchy and craptastic stuff)

There were going to be lotsa more elfs in there. (You can probably see the conturs). And a cake. And a frog. And ... blah.
But it's the spirit that counts, right?

Yay! Happy birthday EQ fanart 3! and I like this card! not just because I see my characters in it, but I like unfinished stuff!... really, I do! (my gallery tells all about it)... I think unfinished pictures show some of the artists personality, and there is unique life to them, something, that usually vanishes from completed drawings... I must say that I'm happy to see all these familiar characters together like this!...

Thing that's bugging me, though, is that there is no elf-self of YOU! Why no Mirror-elf?

Oh, this is so precious! I love the different interactions, like Beyond loosening Laluna's hair, Blaksnake looking up with slightly annoyed expression, Sundazzle trying to distract the elder just to name a few.

Berit: You know, you're right about the sketch - thing. I'm often much happier with my sketches then my finished work... it's as if something tends to get lost along the way...
Startear: You got all the little details! I was worried nobody'd recognize Beyond!
Foxeye: Hehe, my self elf (yes, I do have one!) is actually in there...Well, her contur, atleast. She's supposed to be stealing cream from the (undrawn) cake together with (undrawn) Silentleaf

Ha ha! Wonderful! I love little cartoon stuff like this! I love how Beyond is identifiable even just by hand and the dangling bits of costume! (That was my guess even before reading above that Startear guessed the same, and your confirming it.) Such great interactions!

The spirit is definitely what counts.

XD I'm so happy right now. I've had a rather bad day and this...just makes me really really really happy.
Why? Because Beyond is doing something he honestly would do. Hanging above a group of elves and grabbing at them? Perfect! (Just needs his gloves, really.)
