Original doll I based her on:
I swear, any Glider-ish cloths on that doll maker had the wrong colours, it's the main reason she has orange cloths.
If we held a hairstyle contest, I'd come in 3ed.

I'll lazily post my comment from your thread here:
That hairstyle is way too awesome! She looks a bit unsure, though... Because the hair could come apart every second? Also those leaves stuffed into her bodice (?) are super! Not just the hair, altogether a highly original design. However, I'd like to add that should also post the bone woman here, after all, she is EQ and should get her moment of spotlight on the front page. |

Nope, I imagined this took place around the time the big Egg fell and she's hearing her former mate's mindscream. I actually wanted to draw her with her down (I have made dolls of her where her hair is lose and shorter) but my muse just went 'nuh-uh, you gave her that hair-style, now you gotta draw it.' |

I love that hairstyle! As a reader/watcher, I agree with your muse, made it, draw it. Though I perfectly understand how it can be annoying to draw it like that. Looks very good to me, her face and shape looks lovely.
What I like best though, is the ambivalence. Dahnaree looks like she stopped in middle of action. With knowing the backstory, I'd say torn between seeking out and if it was for the best. |
