Broken statue

...My muse likes landscapes for some odd reason.
The elf in front was designed by one of my friends. I can't actually remember her giving him a name, so right now I'm calling him Relic. (Mainly due to him handling two relics in the drawing and looking very happy about finding them).

Originally, I think he was supposed to be obsessed with some kind of gigantic bug which shell he used to make his cap.
Relic is from a tribe called the Vine Weavers, which is, basically, a group of rather feral-ish pureblood elves that had to flee their original home place due to a massive war with both humans and trolls.

They spent some 50 or so years in the area called World's Spine and recently reached the Shadowgrounds, the home of the Timeless.
I'm guessing Relic went wandering and found a statue (and some kind of decoration) that one of the Timeless' rockshapers made ages ago.
The elf sticking his head past the cliff is a child called Vayka who's one of Sleeper's children.
Vayka is a rather quiet kid who's not really good with people (get's along best with his mother, father and siblings) and he's likely  five seconds away from finding his dad and telling they're being invaded and have to set up traps.

Or something like that. I donno, Vayka is kinda the quiet, little kid that becomes the quiet and scary little kid that makes you laugh nervously when he starts staring you down.

Landscape: Rocky and rather barren looking. The thing behind Relic is actually a human village, that house the Denadraga tribe. They're none hostile towards elves (mainly due to the fact they remember what's happened to the other tribes that go against the Timeless.) they live the furthest away form the Timeless and are closest to the Shadowground's only exist.

Sorry about all the greyness. XD I'm just playing around with my pens.

You got all that in the description? *impressed*

I rather like that there is only color on the relic.

I couldn't help it. I like long descriptions. You should see my expression when I find a drawing of an interesting elf and there's this really long description.:woohoo XD
The relic got coloured because the original one was just more greyness on paper. it didn't look right when I just whited it out, so I decided to give it some colour.
That, and I wanted it to look magicy. XD

That's stylishly awesome, indeed. Is that the same landscape where that giant skull was?
Anyway, I don't think it's too gray at all. Your clear lines and shading make everything visible + give a real depth to the pic.

It's connected to it, yes. It's probably a day's walk away from Relic's location.
