::swooning:: You already know how much I love this one. I love the sepia tones, and how you achieve a subtle distance for the viewer by obscuring their faces. Bea-yut-i-ful!!

This is ... Stunning. I love the pose and the colors... I love how the hair entangles with the wharpstuff... This has ... this is so ... expressive. I always can feel the mood.
Simply amazing... I'd like to say so much more but I can't words... |

This is nice... how did you draw it, with computer? I'm really curious about how you did the hair!

You know from the thumbnail I couldn't really see anything, it's so subtle but once you fullview it it tells so much!

Thanks, everyone!
It is drawn on computer. I do pretty much everything that way now. I use a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet pen and openCanvas 4.5. I use Paint Shop Pro for some editing and filters, but its drawing capabilities are as lame as Photoshop's. The hair (well, everything) is all scribbled by hand. Some of it is linework, some is "airbrush," and some is erasing. I did the main sketch in a dark brown, eventually dropped in the sepia background, then drew the lighting and the hair up out of the dark background, and scribbled in the shadowy parts. I love the sketching part - I can scribble for hours. And, profuse hair is common in my characters, because, well, I like to draw the hair. ^^ (I have crappy hair, so I live that part vicariously through art - LOL) |
