Sandviper and Shield

Sandviper is Janett Beasley's character in my holt, World Paths, and belongs to the Shadowstriders Holt that bond with African hunting dogs.  Shield is her bond. These two have already been in numerous battles and are a lot of fun to have in our games.

Sorry for the silence on my end; it's been a crazy year. I got laidoff from my lousy job in May, was hired and given two weeks to move (had to start work in one week) in September, and last week was in a car accident because some moron thought his red light meant go very fast and plowed into me, spun my car around, and hit me again (just in case he missed me the first time). I've been off work since 12/12 from my injuries. Happy holidays. But, I'm still alive, so I'll be okay.

That's a good thing indeed! Wow, so this also has been a rather hard year for you? Same here!
Good to see you back!
Love the dynamics and it's good to see your gorgeously drawn hair again! I have a lot of love especially for the hunting dog! That is quite a realistic drawing!

Yikes! Allow me to say "what a jackass." And that is why red lights should always be "stop." Don't know where you live, but I know that in some places one is allowed to drive at red, if no one is there, or if you are a woman after a specific hour.

Aside from that, I just love how you do hair. It has so much movement in them, I keep being mesmerized with it. the continued attention to the small details, like the beads and jewelry is another thing which makes me a fan of your work. Last but not least, I love not only the idea of a tribe bonding to African hunting dogs. They are fascinating creatures, in sense of color and living area. And this one looks so realistic! :D

Sorry to hear it's been a rough year for you, too, Treefox! Here's to 2012 being better for us all.

I'm just slow to get things posted, including having to wait three weeks to get internet access again. Good to be back, even though I can't stay at the computer for more than maybe 20 minutes (my knees were nearly taken out by the car's dashboard in the accident). As for red traffic lights, you can go only if you're going into the flow of traffic and no one is coming. My accident occurred at an intersection: I was travelling northbound, the idiot was travelling westbound. He had no legal right to continue until he was given a green light. Either way, what's done is done.

Thank you ladies for your comments. I've always been facinated by African hunting dogs and created the holt many years ago for our roleplay games. Since most of us have moved all over the world since, online is our only way to continue gaming or just keep our elves alive and roaming. When I finally finish them, I'll post color versions to these illos, and hopefully they'll still look lifelike.
