Awww, this makes me want to comfort Dewshine! Surely, her time during Siege wasn't easy! It's nice that you reflected that in your entry. Makes your portrait especially unique.

Those big, beautiful eyes make me think of the panel when she decides to go back into Blue Mountain to try and find Windkin... She looks much happier here, though!
 And those freckles are just so cute!

I think your choice of parchment-like paper is way cool. I particularly like her pose in the tree. It's so wolfrider like. And those mushrooms are waaaay cute.

Totally agree about the paper effect. I love her sitting in the free - she truely a part of her forest environment. The tears in her big innocent eyes - so touching.

The shading of the tree sitting pose works very well here! and for some reason I like all those mushrooms around the tree and the curves of the bark!...
