Ah, the many aspects of Venka united in this! The calmness, the courage and of course, her mind powers.
She actually looks quite young here. The hair, as always, a delicious shining mass. The skin looks so soft and I love the little thing, like the shade of the branch over her legs and the nice swoop of her hair in the action pose. |

When you're stuck in the forest without your top and your long silky black hair won't cover, why not use a branch? Haha. And I thought Wendy's version was the best Venka I had seen...

Aw, thanks! I struggeled so much with both the portrait and the pin-up pose (at one time i had to "decapitate" the latter...poor Venka...), so I'm really glad you like it!

Treefox said it well - there's all what Venka stands for - calmness and wisdom, power and protection, courage and caution. Yet ... there's something I miss. While Tyleet is her perfect self, Venka is ... different, too sweet? too cute? ... I miss the mysterious, cool expression that attracts me while others call it cold and offish.
I love the shine on her cheeks, the reflections in her her - green insead of the usual blue/violet suits her! Great poses and color scheme, lively light reflections and shadows and a perfect composition. I like how the pinup background becomes the ground for the action pose, how the shape of the branch meets the curve of her hair and the long strand mirrors the sitting pose. |

Again, wonderful flow of the composition and fluidity of the body. My work seems so painfully stiff by comparison. The coloring and fading/smudging effects are always so marvelously gorgeous. You captured her calm serenity so well yet still brought forth that intensity that lies just below the surface. The bright gleam is captivating and used perfectly. Sigh...I've lightyears to go before I'm even halfway as good as you.
