Aaah, such a great idea to make his portrait in wolfform!
I like this one so much as a whole, not just individual parts. |

Quote Aaah, such a great idea to make his portrait in wolfform! Exactly! I don't think I have ever been more in love with his eyes... oh, so lovely. You managed it brilliantly to keep him thin (as he is in the comics) but still let him have some body essence left. His gentleness is perfectly portrayed! And I still bow to the way you draw hands. |

Aw thank you.
Hands...wha? I hate drawing hands and I think I am so bad at it, one of his hands is way too big...but I like to think his sexiness distracts from that fact. |

I like your choice of Kimo's wolf form for the portrait. Very clever! Once again, beautiful use of lighting and colour. I notice you favour heavy outlines. It definitely works and identifies your particular style. Any reason you choose to work with outlines in this way? Cheers.

Oh, my favorite Kimo! Great job, you have shown true character Kimo!
And his hands are good =) |

I think the colours you used are wonderful, I want to stare and stare at it, it's a real pleasure. His action shot is so sweet, I like his little smile and the flowers. On the pin-up pose, he looks more mysterious and charming. I love how you shaded the hair, and the wolf form, he smiles too, doesn't he? It's beautiful!

@ceruleanblue Hmm, you know I've never thought about why my lines are so thick but I kept track of my process a bit when I was working on Krill and I just use a thick brush when I start off sketching. I thin the lines out a bit but I think I am able to control the smoothness of the lines when they are thick, so that is why they stay that way till the end.

Awww, and he has white flowers. And wolfie is sooo cute. I better not purrr at wolfie cause it might misunderstand my purring. Beautiful picture. Though he has something doll-like in his "action" pose.

*bows* Making the wolf his portrait is genius! And when I see right he has a twink in the eye
The little star cousins, his exression, the little smile and the look in his eyes ...absolutely the mood for a romantic meeting. And all dreamy and peaceful in the action shot ... doing a "lei2 for another festival of flood and flowers? *just became aware that Kimo is always shown a bit female ... and how similar his features are to Newstars* |

Never paid that much attention to Kimo, even thought Newstar should've had cubs more attractive that him, but you've changed my mind. You've really made him sexy and handsome - wow! I love the color scheme you have chosen, and the simple background of sky, clouds, and flowers are perfect since they don't detract from him. I really love the shading you've done, really makes his skin tone seem alive and very rich. And if only I could draw hands like you do - damn! Strangely, the eyes on his wolf form are appealing, but I can't stop staring at the elfin forms. I worship you, Maggie!
