ElfQuest Fan Art

This took way too much time. I finally got time to color her in March, but I messed up, and so I was busy a lot again. But! Here is my coloring of the lovely Cat.

Because the sexiest elves are done in gray scale. 

I've been sick for a couple of days, and not been in the mood for drawing. Today I needed something to fiddle with, and Newstar called to me.

Tried to do backlit lightening, not sure if I was entirely successful, but it was fun.

Done mostly as a watercolor shading and mixing practice, I've run out of my base skin color copic, and I don't have money for either refill or skin colors in promarkers.

Wanted to give a possible color scheme on Zephyr, the wavedancer which left Crest's Point. Taken directly from the comic, as I was too lazy to draw him myself. XD

One of the few times where I don't use my color pencils, but my markers and almost markers. Found out that I have a love/hate relationship with them. Here they were fun to work with, other times they're pain.

I think I'm finally getting the hang of how to color skin with copics. Which is good, for coloring white skin with color pencils never works for me.
