Marut often seems a cheery person, but if you look at him closely, you might notice a very clear hint of sadness in him, so I wanted to try and draw him what he is like when no one is looking, or the moment when he isn't hiding anything...

Nice to see him looking grim and maybe determined (?). That this is very sketchy with bold shadowing just stresses that fact even more. He almost appears to be grimly scanning something in the horizon, maybe his next destination in his wanderings is looking a little too threatening, but he has no choice but encounter it head on.

Well, I got markers as a gift, so of course I have to test them out... and markers are good at drawing bold shadows! should draw more with them, or upload my older works here...
