As a youth, when I read Elf Quest, I created my own little tribe of elves. (As many here.) I made up a crude graphic novel featuring characters that were designed by my play mates and I drew them and created a story and world for them. My elves were a little different (they had 5 fingers for examp--) because I didn't want to be a complete 'copy cat', but now I don't care. 
This is Nighthawk chief-son for the tribe of his kindred.
He's one of my favs and I still love to draw him even though his story is done.

haha their story is NEVER done
 Not if the character is truly alive XD You are just done with telling your part  LOVE the hair and that smirk. and h has really great eyes. |

Awesome pic, love that rich, dark hair color, really nice seeing some of your own characters... I remember I created a comic called "Seadancers" (this was before I knew anything about the Wavedancers), if I could find some sketches from that time it would be cool to upload here

yep...I guess their story is never done, since I still have a soft spot for this character and his buddies. It reminds me of my childhood which was waaaay too fun.
I would love to see some art pieces from your comic, Larialoyla. Let me know if some should pop up!

I like the hair coloring a lot as well, has a wood ring quality to it without being obvious wood rings. He must have been fun to work with, but why stop there? Why not draw him more? I would definitely like to see more of him!

Thanks, Amberfox. Nighthawk is indeed, one of my favorites and maybe it is time to do a new pix of him and maybe a new costume design too. Thanks for stopping by and saying hi.
