Prank gone wrong
by Afke
For RTH random combos contest. I had True Edge and Willow and the activity "new clothes".
I had a different picture in mind at first in which they were getting new clothes, but True Edge disagreed and so I figured out a situation that would need new clothes as result.
I think Willow tried to use that handshaped branch to scare her tribemembers, but this was NOT supposed to happen.

Wow, afke! I so rarely see your pieces inked, I almost didn't recognize your work. Great job! There is a slight disagreement in perspective/proportion between the two characters.

@Multimedea; I used to ink all my work, but at some point time and energy were in low supply, and I started "inking" with darker pencils over sketches. Saved me erasing and my hand hurted less -- I don't press as hard on pencils as I do on inking pens.
For this one I used a black marker, which needs less pressure than a pen. I just really like contrasts as well and it immidiately gives the picture some depth. Thanks for the comments! |
