Leetrah
by Amberfox
Work in progress - just need to add border and background. This is Chieftess Sorrell's character in Oceans Edge Holt run by Sammie Whitaker. Leetrah is a wanderer from Three Holts Alliance and a pure blooded glider. Upon her arrival in OEH, she Recognizes my heavily wolf blooded wanderer...poor thing. Leetrah's brother is horrified at the mere notion of it, Sablequill's brother is outraged (his other brother intensely amused), and the two are stuck in the middle. This is a newer illo but it's already a couple years or more old. I really need to finish these things.

Cometduster: yes, I color most of my work eventually, although I don't post much of it. My scanner is infamous for poor color quality. Then again, I still rely on color pencils, grease pencils (the best reds and blacks I've ever come across), and pens. One day I'll figure out how to work the computer for coloring. Meanwhile, I have about four color illos I've posted: facial of Amberfox (poor quality), Timewolf (color survived scanning), and two calendar illos for my Holt of Grand Illusions (decent color quality after scanning).
Razzle: I hope it shows she's wearing a hat; I'm not comfortable with drawing hats, but it was a major part of Leetrah. Had fun with the braids, though. |

Leetrah approves of this illo, and so do her friends. you did excellent with her hair. Can you imagine wearing all that around in a fight?

I suppose it makes a bit of sense if she remains gliding when fighting, but on foot, bound hair makes it easier for opponents to grab ahold of something. Or, she could be like Thunderstorm, wanting opponents to grab for the hair so he can take advantage of the situation. It's so much fun for him! You know, with her hair unbound, she and Sablequill will be nothing but hair curtains!

Love the design for the hair on this- and the braids were very well executed. The bundle of them looks like a weapon in and of itself!
