Beautiful shape to everything here. I especially love the shape of his ear. Perfect expression, too: he's calm, but very focused. I think the ballpoint pen effect worked out very, very nicely!

wow, afke! I just love these little work sketches.  :D
The cleanness and sureness of your lines just blows me away.
I am so baffled by the beauty of this composition. His expression, pose, all the details in his clothes are wonderful! I hope you'll give us more of these!

Haha! When you said "angry" I looked again and saw a scary face (eyes and fangs in the spaces in the leaves)! That what you meant?
