...And here we have Aroree displaying the typical irrational behaviour of someone denying Recognition. *shakes head* I find myself torn between hoping Winnowill can help her, an wanting to see what this Recognition brings. I'm sure you know what you're doing though, so I will just continue reading!

I think you did perfectly fine with her reaction to Recognition. Consider a proud, somewhat arrogant, sheltered aged elf (I don't think you could say any of the Gliders were "young") suddenly Recognizing a seemingly mutant half breed elf/wolf, and that Recognition hadn't occurred in millennia in the holt...I imagine this would be a reasonable reaction. And it makes for interesting drama for the viewer!
And frankly, I would try and deny as long as I could, too. FREEDOM! |
