Ambrosiasp and Mirage
by Amberfox
Hurray! Something more recent! Boo! The scanner ate my linework!
Ambrosiasp and Mirage are completely devoted and dedicated to each other, rarely away from each other's sight. Their Recognition was quite a story in itself!
The depressing aspect of this illo is that I originally did it in color, a first in years for me. My scanner made such a disastrous mess of it that I doubt anyone will ever see the color version - and it's really very good! Their coloration is extremely dynamic. Sigh. Stupid scanner.
Ambrosiasp is mine, Mirage is Janett Beasley's in Shadowstriders Holt of Serengeti Mists in World Paths.

I still want to see it in color, maybe you can send it to me, my color scanner does pretty good most of the time. I could make you a copy to show off.

I'm supposed to be heading up to visit family soon and I plan to convince my brother to scan it for me. Being a total techno/gadget geek, I'm sure he has the latest and greatest device that'll do the trick and then some. If not, I'll keep that in mind. Thank you!

Oh my gosh, that HAIR! How do you keep track of it while you're inking? Especially with the braids and all the other details that go with it?
