What?! I have to post after all that great art from Mirror and Tiru?! Oh, the pain, the pain...

This is my character over in World Paths, Serengeti Mists. She is the chieftain of the wandering faction of Starborn Peaks. Fennecfox (with her friend Copperflash) is a character that I've been meaning to draw for years and just now got around to. Be gentle; I've been in a massive art funk since last year and this one pulled me out of it. My scanner has also gone from chewing up color to chewing up and spitting out black and white as well; trust me, this looks much better in person. I'll be posting new art soon along with some older stuff.

Fennecfox was so eager and ready to be drawn that when pencil went to paper, she just sort of drew herself. The ease which I had sketching and inking this one helped break the art funk. Copperflash I had to get some reference photos to work from since I've never drawn a fennec fox before. I loved a photo that had one looking for all the world startled by the cameraman. I used that one for the stance since it seemed so appropriate (they're such nervous little things).

Gorgeous hair as usual, but I also love the fennec! Your animals look quite realistic, it's amazing.
