I like the background! it is so full of detail, yet not crowded! I don't have the patience to do something like that! must've took you hours!... so many petals... the poses look very nice, and I like the colors you used... this feels very fresh, somehow!...

So great to see some other colors in the background! Such a tree isn't used much, wonderful idea.

Thank you, thank you! I was trying to do something different than the other requests. For the others I tried to create more of a character sheet feeling, like what Elfquest did with the back covers. For this I wanted something more like a scene. Also, I saw lovely blossoming magnolia trees, so I used them as inspiration. Even though it is more of a cherry blossom - magnolia hybrid. This was the last drawing that I did before stopping drawing for two frigging years! The last EQ-related drawing that I ever posted on the Scrolls.

Oh, beautiful! Very nice composition. (I always have problems making my charachters "strike the right pose", so often they just end up standing there looking confused) . They look so peaceful together...
Don't know If I've mentioned this before, but I love the way you render clothes/fabrick! They look so soft and flowy, and still have a "leather-y" feeling... |

Thank you, I feel very flattered. I like how this background turned out, but it DID take ages. Also, it's more a super-kitschy background than a realistic background, I think. But I guess I'm pretty good at kitsch.
