RTH: illo for "Growing Upwards"
by Eregyrn
Done as my half of an art trade for River Twine, this is an illustration for the story "Growing Upwards" by Angie, who owns Foxtail, who is seen here as a toddler being baby-sat by her grandfather Blacksnake.
Pentel Pocket-Brush pen inks, Copic marker coloring, some effects in Photoshop.
I was definitely thinking of Mouse's "use more orange!" challenge as I was doing this. ;-)

VERY impressive colors!.. both in the background and in the characters... I'm so happy to see colors of fall, for it is a very beautiful season... for some reason this draws me to it... excellent art from you, once again!...

Beautiful choice of colors! I love how the dark trees stand our against the bright leaves. Also, I think you did Foxtails proportions. I think children proportions are extra hard to draw.
