so nice that you put the sketch,inked and finished versions together like this!... interesting to see how things change and there is always parts in sketch version that can't be added to the finished picture...

I agree -- I love getting to see all the stages of this! The final product is really wonderful, with excellent linework and really great versions of the characters. (Only quibble: Cutter's hair is perhaps a bit dark.) But getting to see the genesis of the idea makes it even better. I'm fascinated, for example, by why you made the decision to change Leetah's head to a profile shot, instead of having her head angled towards the guys. It's always so interesting to see another artist's thought processes!

Berit, I'm glad you liked it. Thank you. True, I am very tired, making this picture. It sometimes happens that the image does not work.)))) Eregyrn, Thank you. Delineating the contour, using the map-case, much easier. I can enlarge and draw the details (for example, a person) is more clear. So often, in the work, I change the original sketch. I do not have very good eyesight, so the sketches I physically can not draw all perfect. |
