Winter Warmth
by Berit
just little something I drew to show my feelings... this place truly makes me happy, it feels like warm sunshine at winter... for some reason I never really liked Deviant Art... but here I can relax and be myself freely... and you are all so wonderful people... thank you all for making this place feel like home... and thank you for hearing me out when I wanted to see more wolves! I love all the drawings I've seen!...
and yeah, the wolf sure looks a lot like a badger!... but then again, it isn't so odd, considering that wolf partly represents me!...

The feelings are perfectly captured! You're so good at showing animals with real and realistic expressions. I also like how the fur reflects the sun. Wonderful! And I also agree with your feelings about this place.

Wonderful expression on his face! And I like the contrast between the cool colors of his fur, and the warm highlights of light (even in such a cold landscape).

thank you both!... I really do enjoy my time here, and I hope this site will live on forever!... and the light, it is actually very interesting that when it's cold and snow everywhere, sun light may look blindingly yellow as it hits different surfaces... it also brings up very interesting colors on the snow, shadows look deep violet and some parts of the snow shine orange and yellow!... of course it has to be very bright on a cold day for these colors to appear...
