Big woofie

I like this old wolf picture of mine best. It's Maste with Yuha, her mother's wolf.
When Pestola and Vuurhaar left the holt to search for Vuurhaar's father, they went on no-humps and left their wolves behind to protect their daughter. I believe Vuurhaar's wolf Bliksem was already very old and died some time after they'd left. So eventually Maste was left with just Yuha, and he was a rather big wolf and very protective of his bond's cub.
I don't think I drew him quite big enough, since Maste is about 10 years old here. But I sure like the way she's leaning on him, diving in that warm, soft fur.

this picture too has lots of feeling in it... somehow it shows the bond between them, yet it feels very lonely... the wolf looks very good in this, and I really like the poses here!... wonderful picture!...

you can tell there is a close bond between wolf and elf here, it is very well done

Yuha's protectiveness comes through so well! I love the warm and inviting colors in this, too.

I really like this one, too. The interaction between the two is just great, and I love the size differential!
