Bloodbath
by Amberfox
Old illo (and in my "big lip phase"). Story illo for "Bloodbath" by Pat McKay in Holt of Grand Illusions. Eagleclaw (Craig Hagood) pleads the case for Morrigan (Pat) before a Holt Council. Trying to impress and gain access into an elite group started by Dawnblade (Mary Muschara), young Fountainbraid (Veldee Banks) is captured and killed by humans. Longterm opponent of Dawnblade, Morrigan, gets into an argument with her. Dawnblade attempts to kill Morrigan, but Morrigan accidentally kills Dawnblade before being healed. This has violated the most sacred rule of HGI: no killing of others within Holt territory. A Council was gathered to decide her fate. Gathered are: Littlestorm (Deb Trimble), Fox (Arion Morgan), Tumble (Gina Schroeder), Sapphire and Nightfire (Krissy Hutson), Moonfeather (Danette Devlin), Eagleclaw, and Clouddancer (Vicky Feuerstein).

Sorry for the extreme brief story synopsis, but I was afraid I'd run out of space to explain it. It's a LONG story, in two parts, and is quite involved. I also apologize for the massive lip thing; don't know what the hell I was thinking!

Gee, I really don't know how you do group pictures so well... I have a big problem putting all persons in relation to one another.

Well, thank you! I think the hardest part is trying to maintain the height differences between the characters and have it look realistic, or at least somewhat realistic.
