Surf Rider Family

Old but still okay. I think this was one of my first "sea based" drawings. Quickshimmer (Kami Springer), son Kelpmane (me/Kami), and Swifteel (me) of Shadow Vale Holt, the Surf Riders faction. Quickshimmer and Swifteel are inseparable and had been lovemates long before they Recognized. After his niece, Seashadow (Che Gilson), resigned as chieftess of the Surf Riders, the holt chose Swifteel to take her place (it was as big a surprise to me as it was to him).
Shadow Vale Holt is run by Laurey Sebok.

Wow, just look at those braids! Again, everything about your pictures seems so symbolic somehow. I really like it.

Glad you like it. Honestly, I never made sense of those braids on Quickshimmer, but mine was not to wonder why. I'd love to work more with this family group, but sadly, I think Shadow Vale may be folding.

Thank you, Sorrell! I love this family, but I don't think I'll be able to do much with them now since Shadow vale seems to have folded.
