Illo for Chieftess Sorrel's story in her holt, Three Holts Alliance. This is Sorrel's mother, Bisonhide, and the story tells of a sad past. Bisonhide was captured and tortured by another elf. The evil elf and crew lived in stone huts, so I tried to draw something bleak and stark as Bisonhide awaits her fate in chains, arms bound tightly behind her back.

That's why the spoiler alert! I may try and add a little more shading to this, since I don't think I quite have it the way I want it. The spacing just doesn't look...right.
