Done for Shadow Vale Holt, run by Laurey Sebok. This is her husband's character, Shadowwing, a bat-winged elf living among the gliders of the Eyrians. I'm happy that out of several artists' renditions, this was the one chosen as the reference illo.

Ooo! Quite unsual. I adore her rather muscled legs and Tyldak-esque wings! Beautiful. Also the dark shading really suits her name.

Strange how I never associated Shadowwing with Tyldak, but...well...duh. Didn't notice her legs were rather muscled, but I've gone through those phases of making the characters too skinny, too large, too leggy, so maybe I was in one of those phases. Besides, skinny isn't healthy, right? Unless you're a High One. Thank you for the compliment, Treefox; I'm a huge fan of your work! Glad you like this illo. |

Ayoooooah Sweetwater! Again, thank you. John Sebok said her wings were that of a bat's, so I studied photos of bats and tried to make it work somehow.
