a picture about Laluna's Magic, and Rayek encouraging her to use it more... Laluna has the ability to control Water a little... I have quite many ideas about pictures that would continue this one, but I'm not sure should I draw them or not... that debends on many things... this picture was actually quite small, the scan is a LOT bigger than the original picture... and for those who don't already know, Laluna is the character of Czarine....

the char's expression, and, yet again, the coloring is awesome ! the dress looks such a silky one ! and I like how you did the water !!!!! this is great ... and yeah ! the continuation !!!!!! |

ok, I shall continue this then!... and about the dress... I must say I'm quite proud of it, because I colored it using only a green ballpoint pen... it is kinda hard to make things look that silky using only that!... the scarf and belt gained more color from woodcolors...

Heh, Laluna doesn't look very comfortable about showing Rayek her powers.. Maybe she doesn't trust him. ^^ You sure are skilled with the ball point pens! I only make a mess whenever I use them...

You did some of this strictly in pen?! You are braver than I! Makes this illo even better with that in mind; I would never make a decent illo if I tried it, let alone show it in public.
I really like this illo, mostly because I think you nailed Rayek's personality perfectly in it from his days in Sorrow's End. He looks so smug, leering, and even a bit ominous in his coaxing of Laluna to use her abilities. Laluna seems unsure of something; I'd be inclined to feel the same if someone was hovering around me like that. Either that or turn around and punch him, but that's me. |

why thank you for you kind words! and yes, actually i do almost all of my traditionally drawn linearts using only Ballpointpens, sometimes, like in this picture, i use them to color the pictures as well... about... 80% of this is purely ballpoint pen, the others being a marker and three woodcolorpencils...
