Teamwork
by Windrider
A sketch of an idea for a "splash page," one of two I had in my Elfquest submission packet. I really need to ink this thing... I got the job before I even finished my submission packet!
Pencil on vellum
Note on composition: This composition is based on a breaking wave. The many lines of movement both parallel and oppose each other, coming to a crest at Cutter and the elk's head.

This is SO awesome. You could do art for them and I wouldn't be able to distinguish it from Wendy's.

Now this is one I'd love to see inked! (and I absolutely love the freaked out squirrel )
@aurianfae: Carol did draw for EQ! And it's fantabulous! |

Oh I see! Is she still working for them, or are they not doing anything new for the moment?

This is close probably as close to Wendy-perfection as it gets. But I still see your own style shine through. I loved it on the Scroll and I still love it.

I love everything that's going on in this piece: the staging, the details, the...squirrel! Cool old school EQ feel to it with a lot of joy. Sorry that I don't comment on more of your work, but I'm not a big Skywise fan, no matter how well executed.

Awesome. Those are my three favorite characters right there! All of 'em so wonderfully drawn.
