this challange was really amusing - so here's my entry. this awful pic (but nice coloring by silberschweif on the right side 
) is from 1997..the time I started drawing. the posture of the new brill wasn't ok, but I tried to keep the same posture then the original. my second problem was the fact that I dont like the wavedancer-stuff, so I really couldn't think about her appearence. she has got a "longer" face and a taller shape in comics, hasn't she? nja..maybe you can imagine her as a young brill^^

I definitly see improvement; her pose is less awkward in the new picture - though, the old sketches are far from bad. I think the old sketch is mighty good actually. Which makes the new one even better

I like the posture you gave her, it's okay she's not so tall and skinny... and those AWESOME calf fins!

Heck, I like your new Brill better than the comic brill...she's warmer colored and infinitely more huggable. ^_^ I wish Christina Raibert was around, she'd be beside herself with <3 over that picture.
