Redheads dipped in red dye

I imagine Pinvis liked Nachtzang ever since as a 5 year old he made it clear to her that they were the only redheads. "Lookie, we both have red hairs, see?" And come one, how can you resist that cheerful face?
I wanted to combine them in another picture together, and perhaps they have been friends too, with one exception Pinvis only has male friends anyway.
I found more inspiration from the 100 themes list, this time nr 86, "Seeing red". It's probably an expression I misinterpreted, but I don't care; this is the image that came to my mind. I tried to make Nachtzang more of a teenager to show their friendship actually developed from that first meeting, I hope I succeeded.

Drawn with felt-tip pen, colored with copic markers, background has a layer of transparent white added in Photoshop. Nachtzang's hair turned out too brown...

This is really wonderfully done. You can still see their figures even though they are totally drenched in dye (I'm assuming that's what it is from the background). They look like they had a riotous good time, although I suspect if given the time and opportunity, they'd have dunked each other.
And who cares? It's up to the reader to interpret what "seeing red" means. I think you did a terrific job. |

Haha, probably! But I myself was opposed to coloring them completely red.
 Whatever they may want to do, I have the last word, lol.

100 themes; I found it at dA and when I googled for it, found out it's spread on many different sites. Don't know who started it and I've seen many versions with different words. Myself I've decided to make some rules of my own and keep it RPG related.
(I need to update my list, I've finished a few more pictures than mentioned there...) |

Heheheh! This is such a cute picture of elves having fun. It looks like Pinvis has a tie-dye (sort of) shirt now! I'll bet the other elves were surprised to see them all covered in red like that. Love the patches on Nachtzang's shorts.

Personally I just hope they run towards some clean water to wash themselves, right after this! Otherwise that red dye might stay a whole lot longer than they'd wish for.
