...Winnowill had not existed?
Inspired by a photo from a newspaper, I was looking for a couple that had the right height-difference, and a pre-wing Tyldak and Dewshine came to mind. What if Winnowill hadn't been around to shape Tyldak or to make the Blue Mountain a hostile place to the Wolfriders? What if the wolfrider's had settled in the forests near there?
On an artistic note, I am going to take a break from markers for a while, because I just don't have the right colors to do a proper background and shading. *grumpy face*

What a cool idea, and fascinating what-if! It's really interesting to think about how much of Tyldak's attitude came from Winnowill's poisoning of his mind.
I disagree, though -- even with a limited palette, I think the background works wonderfully! Love the delicate, misty colors. |

they both look so happy and Calm, yeah, I think it would have been a better world for every elf, if Winnowill had not existed... I like the background, even if you say you don't have the right colors... the forest looks very nice!...

Foxeye, I really like this one. Well, I like everyone you've done, but this one really stands out. Digital or markers, you rock with both! Tyldak is one of my favorite characters, with or without the special design Winnowill used on him. This couple didn't work in canon, it would be interesting to see if the absence of a healer would make it work. He looks so content here, so peaceful. The clothes Dewshine are using in this illo are so cool, I always thought that light blue suited her. And feathers! I love the feathers.
It actually took me a while to see that it was done on lined paper. On curiosity's sake, how many markers did you use on this? |
