Laughing Grootwiel

I'm doing some more portraits on the freckled paper.
This here is my character old troll king Grootwiel. His ruling days have been over for many years though, and he likes pottery now. ;P
Drawn with pencils and a white colored pencil.

Are those dreadlocks?
I love the pencil work and shading you've done with this series, and Grootwiel seems a good catch for the nurturing Smoes. |

Yes, Grootwiel has been working on those dreads ever since he left the trolls, about 100 years ago. Inspired by my aunt who has grey dreadlocks herself. :]

you certainly got the expression just riht! just by looking at this, I almost can hear his heartly laughter and it makes me happy too!... and yeah! we all should draw more trolls! there aren't enough fanart about them!... but from all the "freckled paper" drawings you have made so far, this is my favourite!...
