eavesdropping
by Berit
yeah, photoshop art, I'm still not good an it, but the only way to get better is to draw with it a lot!...
RPG scene again, Scouter waited for Skywise who had some news about the location of the little palace, but he didn't know that he wasn't waiting alone... Zey was near enough to hear their every word...

I think his expression looks very Zey-like. ^^ Maybe you should try using a bit thinner brush with the line art? I kind of miss your "hairy"/sketchy line art -style, which doesn't seem show up with the thick brushes..
But I agree with afke, the play with light and shadows looks awesome! |

Firstly, your lineart is not awful at all. But as Czarine said, maybe you could try drawing with thinner brushes?
Do you have a tablet, by the way? Oh, and yes... the shading is great! |

nope, I don't own a tablet, nor do I own a mouse mat... I'm just sliding the mouse on top of my knee when I'm drawing something... and I finally remembered the reason why I stopped using thinner brushes, because every curvy line looked pixelated and had angles even in places they shouldn't be!... somehow this doesn't happen with thicker brushes...

Oh? Well that's odd behavior from photoshop. Don't know if it's because of the mouse.. Who knows. But I really liked how your line art worked in that Klagg picture of yours. Hmm, I should lend you my old tablet, maybe that could be of use.

well. it might be interesting to try using a tablet. though I still haven't recoved from the shock after breaking those two tablets... I know they were cheap tablets, but still... to think that I might break something that belonged to someone, it makes me feel uneasy...

Nah, I wouldn't mind. The tablet is old anyway. ^^ And I'm using my new one now, so I don't really have any use for my old one. Tablet really helps drawing with computer (though I learnt to colour with it first, drawing line art is a bugger with the old tablet... but colouring faster is a good point in itself), it shortens the process greatly.

well, it sure would be nice to try it out, though I think everyone might get frustrated if I drew pictures with a faster rate!...
