A work in progress based on one of my older drawings I basically took this picture http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e202/ihhk/venka2.jpg , flipped it and corrected it. As always I probably missed a couple of things.. Any feedback is appreciated

Very nice! Although the original version was beautiful, this is even better.
Some tips: Her eyes seem a bit small compared to the usual Pini-style. However, if this is _your_ preferred style of drawing, that doesn't mean you should change it! Esp since she looks really beautiful this way, the eyes actually being my favorite part. I see you've given her a new headband, btw. Costume desiging is fun, no?

beautiful lineart you have here! I think Venka really looks like she should, though I agree with Mirror, the eyes are small compared to the Pini style, but I don't think you should change it, because the eyes are beautiful in the way you drew them!...

I think this is the first time ever I've drawn the eyes too small xD Usually they're huge!
About the headband. Weeell.. I didn't really use any references so I just drew it from memory. Looking at Wendy's Venka now, I realize that her face is way too angular and the headband is way off xD Ah well. Thanks for the comments

I quite like the eyes! I prefer them a little smaller too, but still bigger than humans. Somewhere in between, makes them look much more real I think.
 And the way you add lashes is simply beautiful, so don't change those eyes! Okay?  The nose and mouth could be placed a little higher in her face, give her jaw/chin a bit more room to add to the realistic effect. And I think her ear should be a bit closer to the head as well. I'm not sure if you used an example with this, but if you check where a human's ear is and just extrapolate the point and the bigger sized ear from there, it'll work better. |
