Ooo, I love the designs on these costumes! Especially the fringes on Zoetgras's outfit!

Such a cute pair I love how you manage to give each character a distinct personality and recognizable features.

Sgaana - So they ARE called fringes; okay, good to know.
Mirror - I always try my best to avoid look-a-likes among my characters. And I've had several the past 10 years. I don't want to feel I've recreated an old char with a new name and tribe, I want everyone to be just themselves. Be recognisable even without clothes, you know; 'cause sometimes they can do without, haha. |

I love the costume designs! I also like how you can see some of their personality in their faces. Bravo!

We...I think this picture succeeded. Made me suddenly curious to go read their bios, because they have a lot of personality, even in this simple poses.

Joining the crowd in saying I love these costumes. I wouldn't mind wearing Zoetgras' dress.

Oh I so agree! I've been thinking the same thing when I drew it.
You know, I am all for practical and I usually give my elves practical clothing they can actually work and hunt in - but most of the times the outfits are too sexy for my taste (or too tight, like Fladder's suit here), that I can't see myself in them without feeling embarrassed. But that dress, yes I quite like, I wear skirts a lot. Perhaps when I feel like making a new costume I should use hers as example. |

Zoetgra's outfit looks very nice, and I like it that they both have differences in their facial structure, most people who design characters, make them all look too alike... I think the colors are well balanced in them both!...

Thank you, Berit! I always try my best to give my characters different features. I'd like to be able to keep them apart, even if they change outfits and such! But I also keep their parents in mind and give them little things from them, usually combined. I actually like the part of designing the characters the best.

Terrific illo featuring more than one character in natural, relaxed, believable poses. The coloring is good and I believe this works perfectly for character reference art. Nope, no excuse now for making any mistakes!

I like Zoetgras's spear! *grin* But... her earring moved from one ear to the other between this picture and your "Fladder and Zoetgras" picture. Was that intentional?

Nah, I haven't really specified in which ear she wears it. I might just give her one for each ear.
